As the Head of Social and Digital for Milk Makeup, I led the team in all social and digital strategies including channel growth, content strategy, influencer strategy, and paid media across seven different social channels to approximately 1 million fans. Partnering with my social art director, she and I tightened the brand's voice and aesthetic across all properties to create a fresh and unique take on beauty. I also frequently partnered with the larger creative team to develop daily content, video series, integrated campaigns and larger event activations that took us from NYC to LA. My dedicated work on the brand led to the development of a newly formed influencer team and expanded the social team's footprint at Milk Studios.
Here are a few key highlights from my Milk Makeup work:
- Grew Milk Makeup's Instagram from approximately 26k to 140k followers in 9 months (as of January 2017)
- Grew Milk Makeup's YouTube from 500 to 20k subscribers in 9 months and assisted in development of 5 new video series
- Work for Milk Makeup contributed to the brand having received WWD/Beauty Inc's Newcomer of the Year Award in 2016
